The IKON® 5 has just been reviewed by French magazine Revue Du Son. "The HELICON LE 25ths are eminently tweakable in terms of position to find the sound you like and will make a fine partner for many systems."   MENTOR LCR   MENTOR LCR (Left/Center/Right) is the ideal all-round speaker for stereo use or as front, rear and center speaker in an ultra-compact, high performance surround speaker system.   Fitted with a driver array similar to the MENTOR 1, the LCR ribbon tweeter can be turned 90 degrees, allowing you to mount the speaker vertically or horizontally. The 5” mid/woofer is designed with an aluminum chassis, powerful magnet system and wood fiber cone.   The cabinet is made of solid Medium Density Fiberboard ensuring reduced cabinet resonances. Resonances are suppressed even further by use of the double sandwich baffle principle used in all MENTOR speakers. MENTOR LCR is a ported design with the port mounted in the baffle. Thereby the speaker can without problems be used on-wall without conflicting with the port output.   For wall mounting the MENTOR LCR is factory-fitted with integrated wall brackets. See more details by following this link.       18-10-2007 On October 2nd 2007 the magazine WHAT HI-FI SOUND AND VISION held their yearly award show in London.  At the show the DALI IKON® 6, 5.1 speaker system received the prestigious WHAT HIFI SOUND AND VISION AWARD for the best speaker package in the price range £1500 - £3000.   This is second time in a row the IKON® 6, 5.1 system is labeled “Product of the year”. Therefore it was a proud Mr. Alan Porter from DALI UK, who received the award statuette at the show.   Actually it all started late 2005, where IKON® 6 won the WHAT HIFI SOUND AND VISION AWARD for best stereo speakers in the price range £750 - £1000.
